Dear Claes Goren Roos,
I must admit I am not a specialist on Paulus. In his youth he was a disciple of Gamliel and a bitter enemy of the young Christian community in Jerusalem. I think that he was the real founder of Christianity after he has seen the Vision near Damascus. I don't know about his life in Petra, but I like very much his 13th letter to the Corinthians ("If I speak in the tonguess of men and of angels").
